Almost all of the 7-day forecast will remain below freezing. Arctic air will take hold and Old Man Winter's icy grip will be the big story.
Expect light snow Monday night and Tuesday morning. Generally most will see about 1-2". Expect a little more snow in the SE and a bit less in the north.
Tuesday we'll watch clouds decrease but it'll be frigid. It stays frigid on Wednesday and by Thursday morning we'll see single digit lows and wind chill values below 0. Expect more sun on Friday and highs will top out near the freezing mark.
By Saturday another winter system is working through the area. We'll see a wintry mix before it turns to all snow on Saturday night. Light accumulations are possible. Snow tapers off Sunday morning and another arctic blast takes hold.
