GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Chandler Catanzaro kicked a 32-yard field goal with 2 seconds remaining and the Arizona Cardinals escaped with a wild 34-31 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night.

The field goal was considerably closer than it would have been because Cincinnati's Domata Peko was called for unsportsmanlike conduct for calling out the offensive signals as the Cardinals (8-2) were about to spike the ball to set up the kick.

Carson Palmer overcame two early interceptions to throw four touchdown passes and, with 57 seconds left, completed three quick passes to move the team into field goal range after the Bengals rallied to tie it at 31.

Andy Dalton threw two touchdown passes for the Bengals (8-2), both to Tyler Eifert. The second cut, a 10-yarder, cut it to 31-28 with 3:44 to play.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Joe Pavelski scored twice and the San Jose Sharks rallied late for a 5-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets for their sixth straight victory on Sunday night.

San Jose won its seventh straight road game by completing a perfect six-game trip. Patrick Marleau had a goal and an assist, and Brent Burns and Brenden Dillon also scored. Joel Ward added two assists and Alex Stalock made 28 saves.

Ryan Johansen, Boone Jenner and Cam Atkinson scored for Columbus. Sergei Bobrovsky finished with 24 saves.

Columbus led 3-1 after Atkinson's goal 1:23 into the third, but the Sharks stormed back with help from several key offensive zone faceoff wins. They took the lead by scoring three times in a 7:02 span, including Dillon's go-ahead score with 6:45 left.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Justin Meram had the fastest goal in MLS Cup playoff history, Kei Kamara also scored and the Columbus Crew beat the New York Red Bulls 2-0 on Sunday night in the first leg of the Eastern Conference finals.

Meram opened the scoring at the 9-second mark. Kamara had a glancing header off a long ball, Ethan Finlay ran it down but lost control between two defenders and Meram sent the loose ball home.

Kamara scored in the 85th minute. Cedrick used individual skill to beat three defenders in the box and sent a difficult-angled shot off the hand of goalkeeper Luis Robles. Kamara was left alone at the far post for an easy tap in.

New York was held scoreless for the first time since May 24.

The second game is next Sunday night in Harrison, New Jersey.

VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) -- Josh Hart scored a career-high 27 points to help No. 11 Villanova fend off an early scare and hand Akron its first loss with a 75-56 win Sunday night in the NIT Season Tipoff.

Hart shot 11 for 21 from the field and grabbed nine rebounds. The Wildcats (4-0) trailed by as many as eight in the first half before turning the game around with a 27-5 run across both halves.

Villanova senior guard Ryan Arcidiacono finished with 15 points, eight assists and five rebounds, and Kris Jenkins scored 11 points.

Antino Jackson scored 13 points and Kwan Cheatham Jr., had 11 for Akron. The Zips (3-1) rolled into the Pavilion fresh off the program's best start of its Division I era.

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Farad Cobb continued his hot start from 3-point range, scoring 20 points, and Cincinnati's defense was stifling in a 99-50 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday to start the Barclays Center Classic.

Cobb hit 4-of-6 3-pointers, making him 16 of 26 for the season. Four other players scored in double figures for the Bearcats (4-0), who led 39-15 at halftime.

Cincinnati held the Golden Lions (1-3) to 24 percent shooting in the first half and 31 percent for the game. The Bearcats scored 44 points off 30 turnovers and had 19 steals, giving them 57 already this season. They also went 41 of 59 from the foul line, a team record for attempts and one shy of the record for makes.

Thaddeus Handley had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Golden Lions.

Cincinnati continues the Barclays Center Classic at home on Tuesday before playing Nebraska on Friday in Brooklyn, New York.

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) -- Wesley Alcegaire scored a career-high 21 points with five 3-pointers, leading five players into double-digit scoring as Bowling Green held off Youngstown State 79-72 on Sunday at the Florida Gulf Coast Classic.
